Many businesses get their start on a less than ideal domain name. Exceptional one word .com domain names – generally considered to be the best of the best – are quite valuable. Startups without substantial funding or revenue may not be inclined to make the investment in an exceptional domain name until their business has proven itself.

David Head is the CEO of a company called Endorsed, which got its start on the Endorsed.ai domain name. Although this was less than ideal, it served its purpose and helped the company grow. The company has done so well that it was able to acquire its brand matching Endorsed.com domain name.

In a LinkedIn post, Head announced the acquisition of Endorsed.com, and he shared why it was such a big deal to his company:
