Selar Signals Long-Term Commitment with Acquisition of Selar.com
Douglas Kendyson, is the Founder of Selar, billed as the “largest creator platform in Africa.” The company has been successfully operating on the Selar.co domain name. In a post on X, Kendyson announced his company acquired its brand matching Selar.com domain name for nearly $50,000.

Following up on the post, he shared that the acquisition was made in an effort to show its long-term commitment to the brand and business.

For the time being, it appears that Selar will still utilize Selar.co with the .com domain name forwarding to the website. The company intends to begin using Selar.com for its website later on this year or early 2025.
This was a wise acquisition that will cut down on confusion that exists when people assume a .co website is actually .com.
